Prayer requests and works of mercy

Please help this family if you can. Their newborn has a hole in his heart and they need money to cover airfare for commutes between El Paso and Houston. Please pray for them too.

My friend/co-worker and his wife are in their early 30s; she (Emma) has not been feeling well and getting progressively worse for several weeks. After going to the ER yesterday a large mass was discovered in her abdomen. Surgery to remove it will be done in two days. It is unknown at this time if the “large mass” is cancerous.

Your readers have come through for me on more than one prayer request; could you have them lift this one up in prayer also.

Father, hear our prayer for Emma’s complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Give her caregivers all the graces they need to assist in her healing. Give her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope and love. Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
