Two Years Out from his Election to the Papacy, Bill Doino is delighted with Pope Francis

Two Years Out from his Election to the Papacy, Bill Doino is delighted with Pope Francis March 19, 2015

He sends along three pieces he has written on the Holy Father here, here, and here.

He also sends along a link to Francis’ comments on his papacy so far.

He adds:

I think Francis has been a very impressive Pope, notwithstanding prudential controversies here and there.

As a Catholic, I am most thankful the Lord has blessed the Church with his inspired leadership, especially at this challenging time in the world, and I pray for his continued success.

Dittos. I am deeply grateful for the man, as I am for his predecessors. I am also charmed by him. I gotta love a pope who commends himself into God’s hands and puts himself in harm’s way for the sake of his flock while also asking his assassins to make it quick because “I’m a real wimp”.

God willing, he will die a natural death, but I love the man that he is willing to conquer the devil “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of [his] testimony, for [he] loves not [his] life even unto death” (Re 12:11).

Ad multos annos!
