The War of the Rich Against the Poor in a Single Meme

Here is a Classic Right Wing Strategy for turning the Middle Class against the weak, instead of against those who are actually shafting us.

LET US ALL TAKE TWO MINUTES TO HATE THOSE EVIL LOW WAGE BURGER SLAPPERS FOR ROBBING OUR NOBLE TROOPS BY…. hmmmm.  How do they rob our troops anyway?

Here’s reality: Low income wage earners don’t screw our troops out of their wages, the Feds do. If you are angered by the crappy treatment of our troops, turn your attention to the elected officials who shaft them, not to some poor guy who is, just as much, shafted by his employer and denied a living wage.

Then ask yourself, “Cui bono?”  Who benefits from memes like this?

Answer: The rich and powerful Fed who shafts the soldier and the rich and powerful corporation who shafts the working poor–and who is quietly fleecing the Middle class.

It is the standard practice of the pickpocket to distract his victim. Stop being played.

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are motheaten.
