I rarely do this (like NEVER) but I need your help. A friend of mine has fallen on the kind of hard times that is described by the old adage “If not for bad luck, I would have no luck at all”. I am asking all those who treat themselves to a special coffee to throw the amount of that coffee towards this fund just once. If they cannot, that is ok…I understand that times are hard. If they cannot contribute financially, please keep Jesse and his daughter in prayer. Thank you very much.

  • Mark, just asking: when you publish this kind of ask-for-help post, do you somehow vouch for its authenticity? (basically, do you minimally know and trust some of the people involved? – at least the person who sent you the note?) Or is that totally left to the judgement of the readers?

      I trust the reader who sent me this. I try to do due diligence. I also figure “If somebody rips me off for a few bucks, so what?”

    Prayers that this father and daughter may find a proper home! Prayers as well that the landlord repent, and accept the grace needed to address the consequences of his actions!
