Why the “Catholic Prolife” Case for the Bomb Fails

The Public Discourse is forced to say “2+2=4” to a subculture of lies.

The real question is, when the Church says the use of the bomb to destroy whole populations is a crime against man and God, why does there so much as *exist* a “Catholic prolife” case for the bomb or people who make such a case while calling themselves “Catholic prolifers”? What they are, of course, are dissenting Catholics who happen to have a fetish for protecting a select subset of unborn human beings who don’t happen to reside in the wombs of civilians they want to incinerate.

They are, in a word, anti-abortion-but-not-prolife. They are, in fact, quite willing to slaughter any number of innocents for the Greater Good.
