Always remove 50 IQ points when the media covers the Church

So, for instance, this headline should read:

San Rafael woman to break canon law to pretend to be ordained Catholic priest

It turns out that, as Hebrews says “one does not take the honor upon himself, but he is called by God”  (Heb 5:4). And being called by God involves more than “I want it.  Gimme it.”  It turns out that the call comes through the Church the way it always has: through apostolic succession and not through the Spirit of American Democracy.  Laying on of hands by a duly ordained bishop in union with the pope, the successor of Peter… that sort of thing.

The Church can’t just make stuff up.
