over at First Things We obviously don’t see eye to eye on everything since he is Dutch Reformed, but it’s a good precis of his work. He has been particularly useful in answering the New Atheists, whose work so often makes me feel embarrassed for atheists.
The biggest challenge to the Faith is, as ever, the behavior of Christians. But once you grasp that the sins of Christians, while massively scandalous, are no disproof of the claims of Jesus Christ, nor of the existence of God, the faith remains deeply powerful and satisfying.
