In which my heroic friend takes on some very powerful figures in the Right Wing Christianist Freak Show that has come to dominate American conservative Catholic media in their struggle to promote a blaspheming weirdo who gladly accepts the accolades “King of Israel” and “Second Coming of God” while making open and naked war on the Holy Father, the Magisterium, and the Second Vatican Council. … On a personal note, I'm sorry to have to criticize EWTN. There are many faithful people there who work with great professionalism. My issue is not with them but with leadership that promotes a book that vilifies modern popes and promotes anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. …
