I hear you, man

A reader writes:

Seattle may have more coffee shops and anarchists than Cincinnati, Ohio, but we have more rain! That’s right. Eight more inches than you! We are 139 days into 2011 and Cincinnati has had a measly 48 “dry” days. And even though we may have fewer coffee shops, we have Cincinnati Chili – which is like a meatier version of Seattle coffee poured over some luke-warm spaghetti and topped with a mound of finely shredded cheddar cheese. Combine that with fewer anarchists, and we are a much more “Jolly” tolerant city than your precious Seattle. I just wanted to hit you with that, now I must go. All of the neighborhood animals are lining up two-by-two next to my minivan.

I empathize. Today is the first time in six months it’s reached 70. I’m ready for summer–or even spring! Global warming can’t come fast enough to suit me.
