Recently some nasty rumors about my less-than-flinty heart have been circulating among the groaning lickspittles in my pits of despair. Accordingly, it has become necessary for me to stamp out this flickering flame of hope as brutally as possible. Lest any of you fall into some sentimental hope of appealing to my better nature as Christmas approaches, it behooves us all to remember the sort of demented cruelty of which my highly unstable mind is capable:
