Crunch Time

I’ve got a bail of mail and some very thoughtful rejoinders to my remarks about the What’s Wrong with the World bidness. However, I have a manuscript to finish editing and that takes priority. So I will try to get to that when I can. Meantime, your prayers for our solvency and for several projects I am working on toward at least widening the knife edge upon which our finances teeter would be appreciated.

Speaking of which, if you happen to be interested in having me come speak at your parish or conference and have been dawdling about inviting me for some reason, I empathize. I am inveterate dawdler myself. It generally takes me years to get off the dime and write a book because writing books is hard. However, as one dawdler to another, let me assure you that now would be a good time to make that happen as my calendar is full of opportunities. My audiences have a good time when I speak and they learn new, interesting and fruitful stuff. We all have a jolly time. Indeed, I often get asked back, which is, you know, rather nice since I like meeting new people (I am an extrovert trapped in an introvert’s job.)
