Prayer Requests and Praise Reports

A reader writes:

I’ve been following your blog for some time now and much enjoy it. I’ve just found out that a long-time friend of the family recently died very suddenly, leaving behind a young family. The family is not religious, but I believe prayers for her immediate family and friends as they cope with this sudden loss are much appreciated.

Another reader writes:

Back on July 20 we requested prayers for Tristen, a one-month-old boy severely ill with whooping cough. Thanks to all the prayers, Tristen went home today, happy healthy and adorable as ever. Thanks be to God!

Another reader writes:

Please pray for Ken and his wife, who are embroiled in marital difficulties. Pray for peace and discernment, and a happy issue out of all their afflictions, and a strengthened marriage and family and mutual submission to one another in Christ. Thanks to all for their prayers and time, and may Christ and all the saints richly bless you for your sacrifice of prayer.

Another reader writes:

I would very much appreciate your prayers and those of your readers; I’m going in for surgery on Wednesday the 11th, and it will be the first time I’ve ever been fully anesthetized. It’s a fairly routine procedure, they tell me, but I’m still pretty nervous about it.

Father, hear our prayer of gratitude for prayers answered and our prayer of supplication for these needs through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, pray for these people and their needs through your Son Jesus Christ.
