Praise reports and prayer request

First, the praise report. A reader writes:

I wrote you a little while back asking for prayers for my friend’s health, my grandmother’s vision, and my own job search. I just wanted to give a little update. My friend is out of the hospital and has been doing very well, and my grandmother – while her vision situation is unchanged – is in good spirits and has been approaching the challenge with humor and strength. Also, I had a telephone interview last week that apparently went well enough to earn an in-person interview later this week. I don’t know if it will pan out, and additional prayers are always appreciated, but I wanted to write and express my gratitude. God bless you and your readers.

Now, the prayer request. A reader writes:

A prayer request: I’m going to be homeless and unemployed in about a month. Not many leads on the job front. Time drawing nigh.

Father, hear our prayer for a job for this man swiftly and housing for him. Hear our prayer today through your Son Jesus Christ! Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him!
