Prayer Request

A reader writes:

I’d like to ask your readers to pray for my mother. She lost her job several years ago due to budget cuts. She never found another job and due to various health problems is now living on Social Security disability. She had to move out of her house due to her health problems, which make it impossible to handle the stairs in a split-level home. She has still had to make mortgage payments on the house, however, and has exhausted her savings and her retirement trying to make sure the house doesn’t go into foreclosure. It was put on the market this month, and if it doesn’t sell within the next month or so it will go into foreclosure anyway, and she will have nothing to show for the years of mortgage payments, the empty retirement fund, and the months of stress spent worrying if the house would ever be ready to go on the market. So please pray that the house sells quickly.

Father, cause the house to sell quickly and this woman’s finances to prosper and provide for her. Bring her people to help her and care for her. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for her.
