Favorite part: Asked if he’d ever seen such anger with Washington, he replied, “Yes, I have seen it,” he said, but while those were focused on the Vietnam War and Richard Nixon’s power grab, he said “I think this is less focused.”

I don’t recall Richard Nixon ever claiming a unilateral power to murder any person on the face of the earth he deemed to be an enemy of the State, without any regard for evidence, arrest, proof, or due process. Our current executive claims this authority. And Kerry’s response is, “Discontented voters are hypocrites.”

Our ruling classes are about the good of our ruling classes. Our good matters only insofar as it facilitates or impinges on theirs.
