O Frabjous Day!

Here is a clip from the greatest production of The Taming of the Shrew ever staged. It was done in 1976 by the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco under the direction of William Ball. It’s done in the crazy slapstick style of commedia dell’arte and is absolutely hilarious from start to finish. I saw it on PBS 30 years ago and have been trying to find it ever since. Happily, you can now get it from Amazon (and I have just done so).
