The reader who asked for prayers for the badly injured Haitian priest writes:

It looks like we have cut through the red tape and should be taking off to miami in not too long. But, unfortunately, this will cost a great deal of money. The air ambulance alone will cost about $16,000.  Jackson Memorial Hospital had asked for $50,000 just for a deposit.  Fr. Dumas does not have insurance, and his poor diocese in Haiti has no money.  We are collecting funds from friends in Haiti and in the US.  Can you please consider making a donation toward saving the life of this priest?
