Prayer Request

A reader writes:

I’d like to ask for prayers for a four year-old child from my daughter’s school, Sarah, who passed away yesterday. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor just a few weeks ago, so this happened quite suddenly. I believe she is her parents’ only child. I’m sure they are heartbroken. I have no idea if they are believers, but please pray that they can feel God’s comfort somehow. And of course prayers for the repose of Sarah’s soul would be appreciated.

Father, grant eternal light and peace to Sarah and strength and consolation to her parents all who love her through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, receive this little one into your arms and mother her till she sees her parents again. Pray for those who love her, Mother of the Crucified. Amen.
