We happen t have a lot of folks in my extended family in need of prayer right now;
My Uncle, who is eighty-one, recovering from recent surgery on his back, also two days ago lost his wife (my mom’s sister) to a sudden stroke. Her funeral is Friday.
Their son, my cousin, is recovering from gall bladder surgery and may not even be able to come to his mom’s funeral.
My mom’s other sister has been battling cancer for 3 years and has just been sent home for hospice care and pain meds. There is no treatment left.
In addition, my brother, who had just arrived for my aunt’s memorial, just got word that his wife has been checked into the hospital (by their daughter) for what the docs have found to be congestive heart failure. No surgery planned at present, but she is in intensive care with pneumonia and fluid around the heart and is verey weak. Now he’s 15 hours from home and may need to turn around and head back ASAP.
I covet your prayers on their behalf.
Father, hear our prayer for all thise people and for those who love them and are responsible for their care through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. Amen!

I’m a steady reader of your blog, which I enjoy very much. I wonder if you might request prayer from your readers for a relative of mine who’s facing a difficult situation and needs divine intervention. Thank you so much.
Father, hear our prayer through Jesus Christ your Son! Mother Mary, pray for this person and obtain for them the grace they need!
