Why I Like Colbert

Where else in the MSM can you find somebody who would give Br. Guy a chance to talk a bit:

The funny thing is, I’ve run into Christians who basically voice in earnest the crazy fears Colbert voices in fun.

Not that I think we’re going to be Making Contact anytime soon. But that’s not because I can see any theological problem with it. I just don’t think a) intelligent life is all that common in the universe (except for us and angels, of course) and b) I think it’s spread thinly enough that we will never hear from each other.

Oh, another reason I appreciate Colbert. His lampooning of We Scare… Because We Care gold shills:
