Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Samual Gordon Bish… age 8 -Samuel was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Osteosarcoma (stage 4). The cancer is in his right knee and it has also spread to both of his lungs. This is an agressive type of cancer and it will be treated with agressive forms of chemo. We are asking everyone to please lift up our litle boy Samuel Gordon Bish in prayer.

Father, hear our prayer for Samual and his family through your Son Jesus Christ. Grant him the grace of healing and grant his family strength and grace through this trial. Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for his caregivers that they may be graced to do all that is necessary to heal him. Whatever comes, Father, grant all involved the grace to bear it and see your Name glorified.

By the way, please pray as well for my pastor, Fr. Daniel Syverstad, who is in great pain after a car accident a few weeks ago. He heroically said Mass yesterday because he wanted to baptize Lucy, but he was barely able to walk. Father, heal your servant Fr. Daniel and bless him for his faithful service. Help him to carry his cross for as long as you will. We ask all this in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
