My husband and I have been experiencing horrific financial troubles lately, due to the one-two combo of opening a business and last year’s economic meltdown. I have been praying for a job for months. I started the novena that Reader Carbon Monoxide sent you, and it has worked for me, too. I’m still in shock and things have been so rough for us that I’m afraid the negotiations for this job are going to fall apart or something (which is terrible, isn’t it?! Talk about a lack of faith!). It’s been a very difficult 18 months for us and it has caused me to question everything about what God’s plan is for us. Anyway, I did know that at some point God would reveal the plan, and hopefully this is it. It looks like a fantastic job, and one that will allow me to work from home so I don’t have to look for all-day care for my daughter. I am so grateful. It’s almost hard to believe God is so good to me when I am so undeserving, most of the time.
Would you be willing to reprint the novena? (It’s here … ) I’m sure there are other readers of yours it worked for.
Thank you again for all you do and thank you especially for posting the novena in the first place. God bless.

First, I love the blog and the other articles you write. I am hoping to get to ordering your Mary, Mother of the Son series soon as get my backlog of reading done. (Just started Orthodoxy this evening, which will be my first GKC read.)
Second, I just got back from a weekend at Saint Meinrad Archabbey in southern Indiana. They are having a series of pilgrimages to their Monte Cassino shrine in October to Honor the Blessed Mother. There are 4 dates with four different Marian topics.
Thought you might be interested to know, and pass it on to anyone else who might be, too!
