My thanks for the successful intercession of you and your commenters during my recent bout of unemployment: I have accepted an acceptable offer. Adiutorium nostrum in nomine Domine, Qui fecit coeli et terram.
For those who do not know Latin, I will provide a translation free of charge. It means, “Goodbye, Tori. Do not strum in the name of the Lord, but fetch the jelly and the terrarium.”
People are always amazed to discover my command of Latin.
