Ballard is still the most intensely Scandahoovian part of Seattle. The show this was take from, “Almost Live” was the best local comedy show of the 80s. They not only led the campaign to have Washington’s state song changed to “Louie, Louie” (sadly, a failure) but they gave Bill Nye his start:
