So Tragic

A reader writes:

On Monday April 6 my daughter’s boyfriend Michael Harvey, a coal barge worker, was lost in the high and fast Ohio River. Although the wonderful rescue crews have been working ever since, they cannot find his body. For the sake of both our families, please pray we can bring him home. Thank you.

Father, grant eternal happiness and peace to Michael through your Son, Jesus Christ. Help the rescue workers find his body and bring him home so that those who love him can say goodbye. Grant your peace and consolation to all who love him and the assurance in Christ that he will find favor on That Day when the waters give up their dead and the love of God in Christ covers the earth as the waters cover the sea. Mother Mary, pray for Michael and all who love him. We ask all this in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
