Prayer Requests

A reader asks for prayer for his wife, Alyson:

She had 2 seizures yesterday and has yet to fully regain consciousness. Doctors are running many tests now and we don’t yet know the source of the problem.

Another reader writes:

Two requests rolled into one, really. The first concerns my husband’s car – a nearly-new Toyota Scion – which had its engine seize up on the highway. The dealership at first said it wasn’t his fault, since there was oil in the crankcase. Now they’re making noises about the repairs (and the rental car) not being within warranty since he didn’t have the oil changed for 10,000 miles. No lights came on, and the oil wasn’t in bad shape even if it could have used a change, not enough to totally freeze the machinery. So prayers concerning a peaceful, equitable resolution would be appreciated.

The second is that the car situation plus the economic situation has brought back my anxiety attacks. That’s why I’m typing this at a quarter after one in the morning, although I’m dead tired. We haven’t been directly affected as yet, but the attacks aren’t listening to reason.

I’m under a doctor’s care, so it will get better medically, but I could use a spiritual boost as well. Thanks!
