Mercy Not Sacrifice
Today on Crackers and Grape Juice, we shared an interview I did with Alicia Crosby and AnaYelsi Velasco-Sanchez who both participated in the Standing Rock gathering last month. They shared powerful testimony about what it’s like to be in a community that truly prays without ceasing. It was a huge learning experience for everything to be understood as part of the “ceremony” of life within indigenous spirituality. We discussed how to be present within that kind of space as Christians who are seeking to decolonize our faith.
