Mere Breath
I just got a phone call in which held an answer to prayer I brought before my God on behalf of the life of a loved one. Singing praises to Him today who has heard my little voice and seen fit to give us even more reasons to rejoice and have a merry heart! What a kind and merciful God I serve, who not only hears my fumbling petitions but responds to them!
“For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” -Psalm 138:6-8
I just started a prayer journal this month, but this is the first big petition that has been answered this year. I think this would be a good place to document a years worth of answered prayer, so please rejoice with me in the kindness of our God!
