Mere Breath
Parents, we need to be mindful of our motives today. Anything we choose to give or withhold from our children means nothing apart from Christ. The ability to teach, to train, to bless is not in anything we do. While we desire to raise up men and women of God, the ultimate goal is to glorify God every step of the way. Our job is to (humbly) live truth in love. Our worth is not determined by how many tantrums they don’t throw, by their grades in school or how our kids turn out. We are but vessels serving a much greater purpose. We are only a reflection of the coming glory.
