I am Here!

Lord, I offer myself today! However, honestly, that is not my first desire. My flesh and ego would rather flee from your presence. My prayer is, please help me see you, and convince my heart to seek you in the silence, so I may spend time alone with you. Let me dwell and feast in the eternal goodness of your love. Let me hide in the shelter of the Almighty as I acknowledge my weakness and sin.

I am now present here. My eyes see beyond my flesh, and your spirit pulses through my veins, and my mind is keenly aware of your presence. Fear and anxiety now give way to hope and peace. I cast all my worries and cares aside. My breath is your breath; your life is my life, your spirit bears witness with my spirit. I live because you live. I live and move, and my being flows in Oneness with all Creation! I am present in you, and you are present in me.

I embrace your loving kindness and forgiveness so my heart and spirit may be free from all who have hurt me. I pray for your love to be poured out on those I have wronged. I come to you today for you are here as always, but today I am here too. Thank you for never leaving me or forsaking me when I run away.
