Love God and Love one another!

In Mathew twenty-two Jesus was responding to a question about what is the greatest commandment replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ He then concluded, all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Jesus summed up all theological discussions by saying there are two commandments to judge the character of a person’s spirituality and relationship with God. The first is love God and the second is to love one another. Everything else written in the New Testament is a commentary and details on how to live out those commands.

However, as Christians, we tend to concentrate on everything but that truth. Let us err on the side of loving others and not on judging others to see if they believe the way we do! Lord forgive us all!
