A Prayer of Transformation based on Galatians 2:20

A Prayer of Transformation based on Galatians 2:20 April 4, 2017

I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Amplified Version

Find a quiet place and meditate on the indescribable gift of God’s love and presence in you. Thank him for placing you in the heavenly realms’ with Him by His grace. Ask for the abiding awareness of living no longer consumed by earthly desires but by eternal hope. Let your heart rendezvous with the lover of your soul. Dwell in His Love. As you pray meditate on the reality your old way of life is dead. Your old way of processing life is over. It is no longer you who live, you died with Christ, and Christ lives in you! You still have the same earthly body, but this body now lives by faith and complete trust in the Son of God. You no longer live in the power of this world, but in the power and love of the resurrected Christ. You no longer live only aware of this world, but also conscious of the world to come. Thank Him you have tasted the delights of the heavenly realm and desire your life to be integrated with His life. Pray for the wisdom and ability to contemplate moment by moment that Jesus Christ dwells and lives inside of you. Your life is intertwined with eternity in your heart as he lives in yours. Your spirit is alive in the Eternal Now as you crucify and release your old ways of thinking and doing. Thank Him you have eyes to see and your being and soul is caught up in the presence of creation and eternity. Contemplate you are now one with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You are now in unity and love with God, who created the Heavens and the Earth. You no longer live, you died with Christ, and you now live by faith in the Son of God who died for you. You now possess eternity in your heart!
