There is no Closure with Grief and Loss

There is no Closure with Grief and Loss June 12, 2019

There is no closure with grief and loss that you experience in the death of someone you love. It is excruciatingly painful, and those losses stay with you for the rest of your life. I want you to remember that my love remains with you and never ends either.

The moment you’re born till the day you die, you try to avoid all emotional discomfort and suffering. You don’t like suffering, and when you see somebody in pain, you want them to get over it. Unfortunately telling someone to get over it and to move on with their life is not helpful. Nobody wants to suffer any longer than they must. (Break Open and Blossom in Life)

In the world, I told you there would be unbelievable trouble and sorrow. The good news is knowing my love; you can learn to walk hand-in-hand with me through your grief.  Grief and love are lifetime companions that bring meaning and purpose to your life. Where there are sadness and death, there is also life and hope rooted there. (My Comfort)

There is no pattern or a specific way to work through your grief. Loss is a collective lifelong experience for everyone. My love never lessens the pain, of the suffering, but my resurrection power provides you the hope to endure it.

Over time the pain of your loss will soften where you will feel you can breathe normally again. I hope you understand at moments when you think about your loved one, and there are feelings of intense sadness and feeling blue, that is the high price of loving well.

My love is eternal, and I hold the keys to life, over death. There is no closure with grief and loss for your loved ones are forever an integral part of who you are in my kingdom.  You too will pass beyond the grave to live with them together again with me in my presence.

Scripture:

I have told you these things, so that in me, you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33 NIV

I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. Revelation 1:18 NIV
