Depression, Suicide and Stress

I found all kinds of interesting tidbits of information in these articles I believe would be useful to the LDS population.  Utah, unfortunately, is currently ranked highest as the state for people having suicidal thoughts.  There is no scientific correlation made to Mormonism but I know many who read these results assume there is.  More research needs to be done in this area.

I find my clients usually have a lot of misinformation about antidepressants and how they work.  Often, misinformation, fear and stigmas keep people from getting the help they need. 

When it comes to health, happiness and managing chronic stress – it is interesting to note that many gospel messages can now be supported by scientific data. 🙂
