Cartoon Revisited: Pregnant Silence

This is an older cartoon that I created a few years ago. It is one of my favorites. Very minimalist. To the point. And it is very appropriate for me lately. My life is filled with a pregnant silence right now. If you are a faithful reader of nakedpastor, you will notice that I haven’t been writing as much since I left the professional ministry. Even though many of you are encouraging me in positive ways, I still struggle with finding my voice again… my own authentic voice unfiltered and unedited. Lisa and I are going away for a couple of days to just rest, regroup and retool. I need it. I do feel that even though I am in relative silence, I trust it is a pregnant one and that something wonderful will be birthed out of this. And soon. Peace!
