conformity as core value

The church, like any other institution, possesses a subtle power.

That power is to require conformity for membership.

No institution exists without this power. They could not exist without it. It is a core value of all institutions, even out of necessity for their own survival.

The church especially should be the first to acknowledge this. This is its prophetic calling. And judgement begins with itself.

Only then can something be done about it.
