American Muslim Women Resist Soft Target Stereotype

It is not the responsibility of American Muslim women to convince racists and xenophobic bullies that we are not terrorists, but it sure as hell is our right and responsibility to make them wish they hadn’t assumed we were all a bunch of soft targets. As American Muslim women, we must never willingly give consent or abdicate our human right to exist in our country without fear or recrimination, and if that means safeguarding our person by implementing our 2nd Amendment rights to the letter of the law to combat attack by racist cowards, so be it.
