As xenophobia is continually magnified, brazen anti-Muslim sentiment continues to manifest itself in daily microaggressions and violent attacks. This is yet another manifestation of Islamophobia against a Muslim girl and in which the suspension of a teacher is a serious understatement for an occupation that trains and interacts with children. How is this Muslim girl able to continue her education knowing that the violation of her rights will only ever amount to a suspension?
