Muslim Women demand, Hands Off our Hijabs

There is a serious problem regarding the ignorance shown toward Muslims in America during this high climate of Islamophobia in 2017. This video is an example of the insidious negative behaviors that stem from the disrespect and misunderstanding of Muslim women in general. The Hijab is not a toy or something to disregard. It should not be looked at as an object or cloth without meaning. It’s a religious and God-given right and wearing it should be protected by the constitution. This incident alarms many of us because we don’t send our young Muslim women to public school in hijab to be objectified and touched inappropriately. We send our children to school to learn about other cultures and respect one another.
