Every church has traditions. While the traditions of traditional churches might be more pronounced, modern churches have traditions of their own to beware of. I speak as a pastor that has lived on both sides of the aisle, growing up in and serving at traditional churches, and now leading a very modern church. Many modern churches think they are finally done with traditions once they break free from the ‘restraints’ of organs, pews, choirs, etc. They would be mistaken.
