I often think about creating a playlist to share with ya’ll for the new and full moon horoscopes, but I never seem to get around to it. I will say that right now I’m recommending Sylvan Esso “PARAD(w/m)E” as the jam of the summer. I have no idea if you would say it fits with the energy of this month’s full moon, but I will say it lifts my spirits. And if it lifts yours too, it’s fitting for anytime.
Ok, moving on to the horoscopes. Read on for your sun, moon, and rising signs, or just one of them, or whatever combo you feel so inclined. Feel free to connect with me on Facebook (where I meme a lot), and sign up to receive Exclusive Content.

It is time. The dawn is setting, the signs are clear, avoidance and false optimism have been spent. Under the shelter of the wings of your ancestors is the promise that this ending is not a projection into everlasting darkness. It is a threshold, and the emptiness you see on the other side is not nothingness, but the long and dark shadow cast by the abundance of immense blessings that await you. It’s OK to grieve and to tarry a little while on this threshold. But you can’t avoid crossing it. Consider this the harbinger that the time to let go and close this chapter is rapidly approaching. You’ll know the exact right time. Prepare yourself.
Your resilience is practically a superpower. You think that the worldview you’ve constructed for yourself will protect you. It’s actually served to prevent you from following your intuition. How you think you- and life- should be has prevented you from engaging with your true self and the truth in others. It’s better to be adaptable and shed falsehoods than to hold on to what you’ve outgrown due to a misplaced reverence for consistency. Forget the urge to worry about how you appear to the outside world. Follow your whims and find fulfillment.
All your inner conflict can be resolved by prioritizing your intuition and attending to your spiritual practice. A lot of unnecessary pain results from an imbalance between desire and prudence, intellect and intuition. Get in touch with what you are feeling and you’ll know what you need to do. There is a great deal of wisdom around and within you. Remember that above all, you are spirit first. you carry the wisdom of the heavens and of the earth within your being. you were formed from the same elements that compose your entire reality. Don’t sell yourself short.
How heavy your heart is. If you stood before the judgment of Osiris would a feather weigh less than your conscience? Look at the life you’ve been building. Where does community fit in. Where have you betrayed yourself. Where are you putting your energy and what have your efforts produced for you. And most importantly, are you happy? Do you feel good about the way you show up in the world, and for yourself, and for others? Reflect on your life. If you don’t like something, change it.
You could stare all day at the shadow of your former self, your former life, or you can embrace where you are at right now (and who you are right now) and move on. You deserve peace. There is no substance to the past, and chasing phantoms is a fool’s errand. What needs to be healed yet within you will make itself known. For now, why not take a rest. Breathe fresh air, stand in the sun, and revel in the fact that you are alive. Accept the gifts of the moment.
There is a certain freedom in falling apart. Often the shock of it could have been mitigated by paying closer attention to the signs. When something is eating away at you, destruction is sure to follow. It will always lead to a crisis that forces you to act, whether the action is facing your feelings or speaking up. On a soul level you know these crises are necessary. Despite how difficult or awkward it may be in certain respects, your spirit breathes a sigh of relief because finally there is movement, there is release. Lean into it. Don’t try to put things back the way they were.
You have an abundance of inner resources to call upon. Please, please stop selling yourself short. Embrace everything that has contributed to making you who you are. Recognize and name your accomplishments. Underneath your gorgeous exterior is a rich inner world, earthy and dark and substantial. Please bring the gifts within to the surface and share them with the world. If you don’t allow yourself to wholly show up, to take up space, to assert your spirit, what is even the point? It would be a travesty for the world to miss out on you.
Explore more deeply your erotic nature. Society presents such a shallow, and often repressed, picture of sexuality. Few people get to the magic that lives underneath desire and impulse. There is a reservoir of life force, responsible and marshaling that calls to you from below. Embrace your senses, embrace the primal, the ancient. Learn to see the spirit behind the mask. Learn the nuance of seduction. Get acquainted with this part of your nature, because this energy threads through everything. The greater your intimate understanding and awareness of this energy, the more satisfying and full your life will be.
Give a little, get a lot. You’re going to have to take real action if you want to see real growth and real results. There are many paths you could take, but it’s time now for a decision as to which one you will pursue. You know where you have been out of balance. Stability comes from consistency. If you are consistent in your efforts, you will see results. Now is the time to reflect on what you want for yourself, how you will go about getting it, and committing to your path.
Embrace joy. Carve out space and time to be legitimately carefree. You work hard. Endeavor to enjoy yourself with just as much vigor. Explore what makes you feel young, alive, connected. Prioritize play. Curiosity will serve you better than discipline right now. It will spark an abundance of new ideas and an internal creative resolution. You were born to create. You were born for joy.
What has fear ever really provided for you? Every single one of us will die. Even you. So get on with the business of living. Being constantly afraid or on the lookout for danger around every corner is not living, it’s hiding. You are powerful and protected. Be smart, and live your life. Do what is in your power and put everything else out of your mind. Cultivate acceptance and be open. Don’t allow fear to shrink you. No matter what, you will be OK.
Reflect on the stories you tell yourself about yourself, your life, other people. Reflect on how these stories hold you back. There is a certain satisfaction in bitterness and pain, in poking at wounds and lamenting your unique experience of tenderness and sorrow. But it doesn’t serve you. Who do you want to be, how do you want to live, and are these stories helping you or getting in the way? Don’t define yourself by your lamentations. Focus on what will bring you healing and peace.
