Soteriology, Hesychasm & Huneycutt in Beaumont

Soteriology, Hesychasm & Huneycutt in Beaumont December 18, 2009

The last time I spoke in Beaumont, I was lucky to get out of there with my hair.

More – here.

This time, maybe it was because we talked about hesychasm (stillness) …

Or…

Maybe it’s because Santa’s making a list and checking it twice!

Gift idea – here.

Suffice it to say, I escaped hairy & okay.

(The faithful of St Michael Church, Beaumont, Texas are great!)

But they do talk funny in those parts. For instance, the words: soteriology, hesychasm, and vlachos were spoken — not to mention so-dzo, so-dzentai and so-dzenestitai.

Most holy Theotokos save us!
