Salvaging The Monarchy By Dismissing Duchess As Angry Black Woman

Nearly from Day One, the British press treated the former Meghan Markle like a cross between Yoko Ono and Wallis, Duchess of Windsor. Rabid commenters online not only embraced the rhetoric, but doubled down on the racist venom spewed at now Duchess of Sussex.

Staying Quiet

However, the Royal Family and Buckingham Palace remained silent. The Firm stayed true to its motto — never complain, never explain. That explains staying silent through four seasons of The Crown. Nary a peep about all the English Breakfast tea spilt.

The Firm was also quiet as a library about copious amounts of tea spilled before the Netflix phenomenon ever aired. Claims the Royal Family killed Diana, Princess of Wales killed didn’t warrant a response. Prince Andrew’s involvement with late alleged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein needs no response.

A Special Broadcast

But, a special royal broadcast starring Queen Elizabeth II as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is a necessary response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday? Interesting.

Apparently, the broadcast is a celebration of Commonwealth Day, which is exactly on Monday. Buckingham Palace decided airing the celebration early would draw from Harry & Meghan’s audience. There’s no expectation the Sussexes will be mentioned.

BuT, it seems revealing an investigation into three-year-old employee abuse allegations against the Duchess of Sussex on the eve of the interview was necessary. Now, these former employees can speak.

Interesting. Buckingham Palace claims to be concerned about its employees. However, it seems they’ve kept allegedly abused employees silent for three years. That doesn’t strike me as genuine concern. Those employees seem to be pawns in a game.

Notorious

Other Royal Family members are notorious for abusing their privilege, but haven’t been investigated. I mean people can question The Crown’s accuracy. But, other sources could probably attest Princess Margaret and Prince Phillip might’ve driven a few employees to drink.

Prince Andrew, disregarding his Epstein connection, is reportedly no peach. Yet, there’s been no investigation about his treatment of staff. Only the supposedly angry Black woman is under scrutiny.

Double Standard

If the Duchess of Sussex is actually angry, why do you think that is? Could a glaring double standard be a reason. She’s done nearly everything that her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, has done. However, the Duchess of Sussex has received more pointed criticism.

Queen Elizabeth II presides over a Commonwealth — once a British Empire — built on the backs of slaves and exploiting African countries. Meanwhile, she and other Royal Family members chose to never complain about the clear racism leveled at the Duchess of Sussex.

And, even as this investigation is revealed, the public will never learn how palace staff — including those employees — treated the Duchess of Sussex. If Buckingham Palace and The Royal Family weren’t on the defensive, a star-studded Royal Broadcast wouldn’t be necessary.
