Prayer of Confession
Holy, Triune God,
we confess that we have not lived for Your glory.
When enemies attack us, we trust in our own defenses.
When deadly storms surround us,
we forget that You are with us.
Forgive us, God of grace.
In our hardship and affliction
teach us to trust that You alone
can deliver us from death to life;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Assurance of Pardon
The mercy of the Lord
is from everlasting to everlasting.
