One Link to Rule Them All

I neglected to gather links through the week, which is a good thing, because it meant I was doing real stuff, like work or something. Work or something included all the school and the glories of Ham in Coca Cola, Chicken and Dumblings, Roasted Sausages and Potatoes, and another trip to the walk in.

Also, if you wanted to do Ham in Coca Cola, what you would do is go buy a ham, plunk it in a big pot, pour a liter of Coke over it, and turn it on.

If you wanted to do Chicken and Dumplings you would make a gorgeous chicken soup, with lots of chicken in bite sized chunks, and then you would go dig up your falling to bits Joy of Cooking for the dumplings [two cups flour, 1 t salt, 1 T baking powder, 1 cup milk] and let them fall into the soup so that they puff up into little perfect pillows of dough. Which, it turns out, is not in my diet. So I just watched the children eat them all, and felt really really really really really sad.
