Gosh it’s pretty out there, with our two feet of snow. No way I’m going out in it though. No. Way. Instead I’m going to stay in and listen to the children cry because the snow makes them cold. I’m going to stand there, unsympathetically, while they writhe around not the floor trying to remove coats and boots. While I’m doing that you can listen to this week’s podcast where we talk about the Anglican Situation in England, what we did for Thanksgiving as children, what we’re going to eat this week, and how evil it is to decorate for Christmas before Advent has even started.

And now on to links. First up we have Sometimes Caregiving Stinks also talking about snow.

And this nice reflection on beauty.

And this about the beauty and help of the Anglican Prayer Book.

And this about Wodehouse in India.

And Darwin Catholic feeling sick and tired.

And something funny about Trump.

And something really good about the election.

And in case you haven’t been reading your way around Patheos, there is this nice piece about wisdom, and this one about how doctrine does matter, and this nice one from Pilgrim’s Road Trip.

And Matt’s sermon which was the usual flaying open of my personhood.

And finally, here is something culinary for this week.

Have a lovely day!
