Before anything else, I hope you will pray for Tim Challies and his family. They lost their son unexpectedly yesterday. He writes:
Nick was playing a game with his sister and fiancée and many other students when he suddenly collapsed, never regaining consciousness. Students, paramedics, and doctors battled valiantly, but could not save him. He’s with the Lord he loved, the Lord he longed to serve. We have no answers to the what or why questions.
I don’t know what God is doing with this year, but I hope it’s something spectacularly glorious in the long run, because right now, in the middle of it all, it is very very dark.
Second of all, I stayed up too late watching election returns, which I see now was a big fat mistake. Somehow I’ve got to remember how to stagger through the day, if possible because it’s not like I made it through my list yesterday either. Here was my favorite tweet of the night:
