It is a gray, chilly day here in the Northeast. We’re grateful to have survived this far into the Christmas Feast and so have done a rather long podcast looking back over the past year, and thinking about this new shiny one. We talk about the end of Roe v. Wade, Elon buying Twitter, our visit to Cordoba, how I wrote about Revoice, why K du Mez is not a Christian, and how sad it is that we can’t eat bread. In other words, it is the Usual Podcast and I hope it makes your day all holly and jolly.
Here is du Mez’s substack where she officially apostatized.
Here is my article on Revoice from early in 2022. Scroll down to read Wendy Alsup’s response, and below that, CRJ’s response to Wendy.
Here is Matt’s article about what constitutes Christian orthodoxy.
Here is my blog from yesterday, and my one from Friday.
Here is a cool video.
Here is something super fun. Another cool word, if you dig through the whole thing–Rapturable.
This is what I wait for every year (language alert) and probably the best one ever.
And here is a fantastic sermon and a helpful class.
Have a lovely year if you’re into that sort of thing.
