Going to move all the big stuff today, which means sleeping in the new house from here on. This doesn’t exactly equal “moving” because there are going to be a lot of things that don’t move today, and I’m going to be over here a lot of hours rounding them up and shuttling them over. But! First we move the cats. Very first thing. So as to avoid the horror of losing a cat and spending six or so weeks stressed out until we find him again.
Keep thinking that I’m going to have a big burst of adrenalin that propels me around like an efficient whirlwind, packing and cleaning. So far, nothing. Think I must have used my yearly alotment of panic driving around the edge of Chicago last week, or whenever it was.
Anyway, I do have to get up and try to at least shuffle around, shoving things out of the way so that we don’t all trip and die.
