Off to Atlanta

My eldest, my youngest, and I are leaving for Atlanta this morning. #1 is competing in the Irish dance regional championships, Oireachtas. We’ll be there until Monday when we get to fly home.

If you’re in the area, come in and say “Hi”. If you’ve never been to an I.D. competition, you should go. It looks exactly like you would expect if a drag queen exploded. There’s lots of accordion music to keep your toes tapping, and you can get a curly-haired wig. Fun. Wave if you see us. I’ll be the exhausted one with the fat baby in his black and white sling.

Pray that he’s good on the plane, my daughter does well, and the paycheck is in the back by the time the plane leaves….
